The Traveller's Table

An evening
at the threshold
of the journey.

Six hours of the destination — its food, its drinks, its music, and the seven other travellers who will share the road ahead. The Traveller's Table is how the journey begins, a season before flights are booked.

The first taste of
somewhere real.

A Redwood journey is built around eight travellers, twelve days, and one landscape. Before any of that — before the visas and the rolling suitcases and the long descent into a new sky — we gather at a table.

For one evening, the destination comes to us. A chef from the region cooks. A bartender pours its spirits. Music from its streets fills the room. And the eight travellers who will share the journey meet for the first time, over plates and glasses, while the place they're about to visit pours itself into the space between them.

At the end of the evening, those who feel the pull can put their name down for the journey itself, leaving with a deposit, a date, and the beginnings of seven new friendships.

Four hands, one
conversation.

01

The Meal

Five to seven small courses, each a thread in the region's culinary story. Cooked on the night by a chef whose roots — or whose study — belong to the place.

02

The Mixology

A guided lesson — not a demo. You'll mix the spirits, infuse the bitters, and learn what makes the cocktails of the region the way they are.

03

The Music

Live where it can be — players who carry the rhythms of the destination in their hands. Played at a volume that lets the conversation breathe.

04

The Travellers

Eight chairs. Eight strangers, perhaps — for now. By dessert, they're usually the people you'll be standing next to in a Saudi sunrise or a Patagonian gale.

Three evenings,
three thresholds.

Each table seats eight. We host them in Toronto, four to five times a year, across a season. Tickets are released in waves; existing Redwood travellers receive first invitation.
